Orme House

Orme House is a block of 60 units which was manufactured completely off site. It was an investment opportunity in the UK Purpose Built Student Accommodation sector. The development encompasses 120 modernised one-bed studios and two bedroom apartments. Each block comprises a kitchenette and an en-suite bathroom. As well as the apartments and studios a school building and a new build block was developed. This accommodation is situated on Orme Road in an ideal location for students studying at Keele and Staffordshire Universities. Within the area where Orme House is situated, there is a lack of high-quality accommodation for students and so Orme House has been developed to deliver a “unique and unrivalled” place for students to competitively purchase. Orme House has proven to be extremely popular with international students and postgraduates, providing them with first-class living standards. Orme House is a conversion of a Grade 2 listed building and adjacent new build. It is a four storey build, with a complex roof including attic rooms. All panels and joists were made off site and floors where fitted loose as there were carnage restrictions on site, meaning the crane could not reach where necessary. .
