Adelaide Wharf

Adelaide Wharf is a 6 storey apartment block, which holds 20 two bed and three bed apartments as well as 5 houses which are situated on Gordon Road. This building was a project for the Ealing Council.The design of the apartment building was extremely complex. At each level there was a step back and therefore there was no continuous line of loads on the building. This also meant that the fire design was fairly complex. The design of Adelaide Wharf was predominantly a steel and glulam frame, with a mix of stick built panels at low levels of the building and prefabbed panels at higher levels. .
